The energy in a moving object is mass times velocity squared. If there are
two boats with the same windage and the boat A weighs four times as much as
boat B then boat A will move half as fast as boat B when a gust of wind hits
each boat. Each boat will have the same energy in it and the same force to
dissipate in the dock lines and dock when arriving at the end of their tether.
