Weather/news reports here in the San Francisco Bay Area quote Lousiana
seismologists as saying that the quake's effects were indeed felt that
far away. Indeed, they claim that the swimming pool in one of the
Univerity's facilities sloshed enough water over the side to partially
flood the rest of the building!
