Not really accurate.
If memory serves, speeds of 1000 bps are typical with decent radio
conditions. That is with the Pactor II mode. I understand Pactor III is
being deployed which will deliver faster speeds.
I'd be interested in hearing of "real world" experiences from the
liveaboard hams.
