    Of course, the best information of that type, particularly if you're
    cruising the hinterlands already, is the SSCA compilation CD which contains
    years worth of member-cruiser reported check-in/out procedures, where to
    find a SS welder in Bequi, and who does laundry in the San Blas Islands.

    Small in size, portable, not radio modem or internet cafe dependent, and
    offering immediate, fairly authoritative and up-to-date answers to life's
    cruising questions.
