Hi Randy and Jackie,
I live on a little Columbia down in the Sarasota
anchorage (highly not recommended). I'm building a
bit larger Searunner trimaran in a warehouse in
Bradenton. As such, I have space and tools and
materials available if you need to do any boat (or
other) projects.
I'm curious about the Bradenton waterfront. It is a
wonderful setting, but I don't want to be tied to the
dock. I prefer that my boat points to the wind on
those warmer Florida evenings, and my power needs are
well taken care of. Page 43 of the current Liveaboard
Magazine has a picture of my wind generator and solor
panel, as well as a photo of my future boat. There
appear to be few to no anchor-outs in the Manatee
river. Do you know if it is allowed and if either
Marina provides services such as a dinghy dock,
bathrooms, showers, and pumpout?
Welcome to the neighbourhood,
Jeff
