Ahoy,
I am in the process of using West Marine's Peel-A-Way paint removing system
on my deck and it seems to be working fine. After using product and "peeling
away" the old paint, I am left with a mottled grey surface which I am
assuming is the gel-coat.... is this correct?
And, if this is the gel-coat, how might I repair the spots where this layer
has chipped away.
Also, is there any reason I can't take my time with this project, or in other
words, will the weather adversely effect the "stripped" deck?
Thanks in advance,
Reece
