Hi,
The plasticizers on window vinyl migrate out from the beginning - that is
why the brittleness and yellowing occur. They need to be cleaned gently
then coated to keep the plasticizers in. If you have screens sometimes
they hold rainwater and that causes algae on the isinglass.
The best luck we have had is with Meguiars Plastic Detailer #18 for
removing "stuff" from the surface. To help with scratches, they have #17
for plastic cleaner and finish with #10 Plastic Polish.
When you have to store your isinglass, get some of the $1 yd. fabric from
some fabric shop and cover the windows. Roll the windows - not fold.
