I got to experience Gensets at night in a quiet anchorages over the last
week while spending a vacation on my boat in the Bahamas. My question is
why would a power boat run the genset all night after motoring from FL?
They were not using Air Conditioning and their batteries must have been
    fully charged after the trip.

    Thanks
