With all the great personal health info going down on the list these days, I
just had to relate a recent experience. A few days ago, I got the first
inkling of the flu, you know, that scratchy raw inflamed sore throat feeling
accompanied by a slight fever and the listless "blahs". Luckily a friend of
mine paid an unexpected visit to my house. She's a certified pagan witch,
and with her consent, I agreed to an experimental treatment. She pulled out
her Mojo bag, a personal computer that ran Linux as it's operating system,
and a jar of herbs that can only be found on the east side of locus trees
grown in Tibet. After an intense 15 minutes of chanting, some file
deletions, a re-boot, a couple of shots of tequila, a honey enema, and a vow
never to watch MTV again, I was cured! Then what happened was unbelievable.
She booted me online to RegisteredNurse.com, and they were talking about
boats. Great stories about batteries, sails, charts, stoves,
windlasses(power and manual), fantastic destinations, amazing passages, and
trials and tribulations of living on actual boats. Needless to say, I was so
impressed, I didn't even recognize that I had been cured of my flu symptoms.
    Now I'm a believer...SU
