Hydrogen peroxide only lasts a minute or two before degrading and losing its
effectiveness.
If what you say is true, the honey continues to make hydrogen peroxide over
an extended period of time at a lower level to provide a continuous
protection and healing. Hydrogen peroxide liquid is great for cleansing and
sterilizing a wound but is useless for prolonged protection, especially on a
weeping burn or wound that you want to have dry up and seal itself.
So UNscrew the honey and apply it AFTER cleaning with the hydrogen peroxide.
