I don't know what you guys are doing with your PC's but I run Win2K on my testing PC at work (I work for a software company) and I beat up my OS's pretty hard! For me Win2K is the most stable MS OS yet. I can count on one hand the number of times It's crashed in the last 6 months. I test all sorts of beta software on it on a daily basis. As far as I'm concerned win2K is damn near bullet proof! It's my OS of choice for company laptops (and my own!)

Having said that, the first thing I do when I get a new laptop is to format it and remove all traces of the vendors "little helper" apps. Then I can use the "recovery" disk to put the OS back on clean. They tend to run much better this way. All those extra little apps tend to screw things up.
