Garmin replaced a friend's aviation gps for free after it began losing
signals repeatedly. They even gave him an upgraded model with new data base.

Ok folks you have convinced me. I got a return number and have sent my Garmin 120 that was no longer acquiring signals back to Garmin. They are going to call me with a rebuild price. You guys will cure me of my new gimmick addiction and make me frugal yet!
