    No, it's mounted just aft of the mast, in front of the batteries under
    the sole. I can see everything for 20" in all directions except down
    and don't think there is anything magnetic. The keel is lead, the mast
    is aluminum and the fuel tank that is about 3 feet away is aluminum.
