    Wow, you guys must have a small mast or live in an area where yard labor
    rates are really inexpensive. The going rate around here is about $10/foot
    for un-stepping and stepping. That includes all the work involved
    disconnecting the shrouds and also a "dock" tune after re-stepping.

    If you store the boat over the winter at my yard then the cost discounted as
    part of the haulout and splash.

    Dropping your mast should only
