I bought a cluster of six "white" LEDs in a screw-in "bulb" and a cluster of
nine "white" LEDs in a screw-in "bulb". They were about $40 each. Neither
of them give enough light to read comfortably by and serve now as pale blue
nightlights.
I am very happy with the 7 watt 12 volt fluorescent.
