    UPDATE!

I get home from work last night and the vacant dinghy location is
once again occupied! Looks like Christmas came a couple of weeks
    early this year.

Turns out, the guy in the next slip over (my new best friend) who
just arrived from New England on his way to the Bahamas happened to
be out cleaning his hull yesterday. In broad daylight, he sees 3
teenage kids rowing around the marina in a beautiful RIB that looked
just like mine. So he calls them over and asks where they FOUND the
dinghy we have been looking for and tells them they are heroes for
finding it and bringing it back. They said the found it washed
ashore (yeah right). So he let them splash around for a few more
minutes and then asked them to put it back where it belonged (funny,
they new exactly where it went!) They were so worried that they were
going to get in trouble, they even washed the dinghy down before they
left. I told my new friend that he should have asked them for their
address to send the reward to. It seems that they were stupid enough
to give it to him. Anyway, the highlight of the story is that I HAVE
MY DINGHY BACK! (I'll lock it up this time!) Now I guess John
Bobbitt and I have something in common!

Reunited and it feels so good! (Peaches and Herb in case the
    reference was missed...)
