The Hook pads on hook and loop sanders do wear out after a while. It's
completely normal. You have two options: you can buy a new pad from your
tool dealer (about $10 or so), or if you want to save a few bucks or need it
quick and they don't have a new pad in stock, you can buy universal kits that
have new hook disks that you glue on with contact cement. The first option
gives much better results, though.

What gives?
