It is funny that you mentioned that because I have considered putting a high
pressure pump to my fuel tank with a nozzle at the other end.
If a boat approached fast, and would'nt heed your warning, you could hose it
down from about 75ft. away, then shoot your flares into it.
They wouldn't be so concerned with you at that point.
For those who asked, I repressured the extinguisher with a common 12v.
compresser, it is charges to about 125PSI. You can remove the meter and
replace it with a shrader valve or a fitting that holds the valve and the
meter.
Make sure the extinguisher is very clean when you reassemble it, powder on
the rubber seals will cause it to lose pressure, this is why any dry
extinguisher is shot once you fire it at all.
