     or remember that the pen can be mightier than the sword.
    Perhaps turning world public opinion against countries that are lax
    about public security and policing such lawless actions would be more
    effective in the long run.

    While I can symphatize with the sentiment of defending yourself against
     intruders, all too often such intruders carry weapons because they are
    ready and prepared to use it with deadly force, not just wave it around as
    an empty threat.

    This same incident has sparked debate in the commercial world of shipping
    about piracy in general. Now would be a good time to rouse public opinion
     on a world wide scale to make a point that in a global economy there
    must be global standards of public safety.
