You could always use Mozilla or Galeon. I find these both much better
alternatives than Netscape. Both are open source also. Opera has made some
headway as well from all reports, but I don't use it personally so I can't
really comment.
There are a lot of alternatives to whatever you're using (KWord (KDE),
AbiWord (Gnome) GobeProductive, StarOffice) and to replace most of your
office productivity suites if you're seriously interested. Some of them are
unbelieavably good and their ability to import and export Word files (except
for very, very complex ones) is startling.
Check sme of em out.
Daryl.

Hi. I'm NOT the one using netscape. Keith is. He's the one who wrote that
comment. However, if you're a software developer, you prefer IE because you
can't write programs with the same ease with netscape. hopefully, 6.2 will
change that because i always prefer not using MS stuff.

Susan,
Like the man said: "You can still get a virus using NetScape...!"
However, Netscape's address book usually won't spread viruses like the
Outlook programs will. But, that said, many viruses can still spread using
their own built-in e-mail client on your server no matter what e-mail client
you use... even NetScape. If you think you're protected just because you
use NetScape, or Eudora, or Opera, or some other e-mail client, you're
fooling yourself.
P.S. = And, NetScape is just a couple steps (at least) behind IE and OE
in terms of functionality and ease of use.

Another reason I'm glad I still use Netscape.
