    I have to agree with Rick. I've owned a bunch of cars over the last 40
    years and I'm pretty sure not a single one of them had a way to
    disconnect the starter from the battery. Never had one stick and I'm
    sure I've started cars thousands and thousands and thousands .... of
    time.
