    I too am faced with that decision albeit for medical reasons
    (Diabetic leg/foot problems). After talking about it with other
    floating friends and looking around marinas extensively for some two
    years, I have another solution (maybe) - motorsailer! You have
    essentially a trawler with a good strong Diesel, and a warm and dry
    pilothouse – but you still have a small mast and sail. When the wind
    is right and you want to be alone with nature, you can kill the
    engine, hoist your sails and commune with the waves and the breeze.
    Think on it....
