It's called WOOL, made by your faithful sheep in Scotland and
elsewhere.
When – during an earlier incarnation – I worked in an aluminum
smelter, we had to wear garments made from heavy 100 % wool (woven is
best) to protect us from sparks and heat. It works - try it, you like
it! If it's good enough to protect my skin, it's good enough to
protect your setees, methinks.
Congratulation on having a solid state fuel stove - I love mine, now
in the fifth winter.
