This is called a "hydronic" heating system and when the subject came up a
year or two ago was agreed by most as the best system for a boat.
You can get "truck heaters" from JC Whitney with a finned core and a fan to
supply heat where you need it in the circuit.
Big drawback is your cabin heat goes up the gas flue, or if not vented, you
gain a lot of water in the cabin. Maybe you could somehow isolate the Paloma
so it operates only in outside air.
