    This is the reason we removed the bottom paint from our boat, - I think
    there were 12 years worth on it. We went the Soda blast route and it
    worked well... eventually. The problem was that our contractor supplied
    an inexperienced operator resutling in a patchy job. I am assured that
    these people are skillful enough that they can remove paint in layers.
    Should you go the soda blasting method, check out the company you
    plan to use with others.
