One other question on this subject.
Why would anyone want to use galvanic isolators?
To save the zinc?
The purpose of the zinc is to save the prop and other
underwater metals from galvanic corrosion.
Replacing zinc is cheaper than replacing props, through hulls,
rudders, and prop shafts.
IMHO, if you are losing your zinc's too fast, you have a problem that
needs correcting, not an isolator.
