Any soft spots in the deck are drilled with a 3/16 drill in approximately a
12 by 12 inch pattern from the top into the core.Epoxy is than mixed and
injected with a strong syringe starting at the lowest holes and working up
the slope plugging the holes with a suitable plug as you go. You know you
have enough epoxy in each hole when it starts leaking out of the holes
around it. It is important to drain and dry the core as well as you can.
This is best done in the heat of summer or in a boat house. Allow drying
time after drilling the holes in the deck using heat or what ever you can
,we sometimes use alcohol or acetone to help out.
