All the plywood on board had become rotten and delaminated except the last
skin that was saturated with glue where any teak was bonded to it. By
spooning and scraping the rot and loose laminations we were left with the
last veneer holding the teak together and basically in shape. From there we
used doorskin and epoxy to laminate all the bulkheads and panels back to
there original thickness. As for the rest, the teak was of solid
construction and simply needed refastening to any plywood adjacent to
it.Through the whole job we removed very little of the finished fastened
interior. Of course keep in mind that most of the finished interior consists
of drawers and cabinet doors all in good condition.
