Chartkits are simple, mostly dependable and reasonably priced. I use them
along with my Garmin chartplotter.
Norm,
Why would you need digital charts or any chart for that matter to get to
Savannah from the ICW?
All you have to do is turn upriver and travel a couple of miles on the
Savannah River from the ICW.
As for your "Georgia sucks" comment *most everytime* you mention Georgia or
Savannah....what if everytime I had a chance I posted...."Sailboats without
masts suck", or "concrete boats suck"....get my drift? You certainly have
the right to your opinion.....and my opinion is that this is unnecessary.
Yes I live in Georgia and my boat is in Savannah....but I will move it to
Florida when I move aboard because of the no liveaboard law in Georgia. I
suppose that is the basis of your comment.
Georgia is a wonderful state to work and raise a family.......but not to
liveaboard. Savannah is a charming place to live or visit with a great
varity of things to see and do including the history.
(We do have great access to the Atlantic!)
