Bandersnatch has 8 feet. While anchored in Bucksport last year an old
neighbor paused to visit while ferrying his new barkintine to Chicago. It
has 9' draft.

The Waccamaw River is, for Jan and I, the most beautiful part of the Atlantic
ICW.
There is plenty of water there, even for us. Be sure to stop at Bucksport,
meet Mr. Weaver and buy some of the great local breakfast sausage and some
Bleinhiem ginger ale. We like the "hot" version of the ginger ale. It
really does stop seasickness; we tested it with some friends on the Halifax
to Lunenburg trip.
