Thanks for laying it out! I think you are exactly right that many do not
know how to pass or be passed with the least amount time and trouble. Maybe
your post will the passers and passees to have more pleasant encounters....
(naaaa, probably not -- but it doesn't hurt to hope).

PS What I really hate are the sportfishers that come down off plane and plow
by throwing a wake twice the size of their on-plane wake. Yea, thanks buddy
