We use a 12 footer. Had a 10 footer with our last boat and went with the
larger one this time because I like to fish. More room for a friend and gear.

The 10 footer makes a perfect dink for most cruisers although IMHO the 12
is better if you have the room.

    They are indestructible.

As to the motor, the new plates on the 12 footer say "Motor Weight Limited
To 54 Pounds". We use a 5 hp Nissan on ours and it easily planes with two
aboard. Will run 16 knots with just me. Very dry ride.

If you have any question, will be glad to answer them.

    Fair Winds,

    Tom
