    Ron,
     ALL anchors will break out when the load swings 180
    degrees. If they did not you would be unable to retrieve
    them. The "Practical Sailor" tests show that the 'Delta'
    anchor resets VERY quickly. In the January, 2001 issue the
    chart shows the 22 lb.Delta anchor :rolled on side, came
    loose and dug back in". It moved 5 feet during this
    process.The 35 lb. CQR moved 9 feet during the same process.
    The 20 lb. Danforth Deepset II "did not break out flukes,
    stayed buried" moving 1 foot. The entire article needs to be
    read to put these results in perspective, but I believe your
    Delta anchor which has been serving you well so far will
    continue to do so. The convenience of the self stowing
    feature and average holding power of the Delta has convinced
    me to go with a 55 lb. Delta for my 35" sailboat.
