lv-ab: Radar Reflectors

    Mark,
     I have read "Practical Sailor" for years. The testing they
    did in the September 1995 issue was done under controlled
    condition at S.R.I. here on the S.F. peninsula. If you read
    the August 15, 2001 issue they discuss these tests and the
    need for reflectors to have dimensions large enough to
    reflect the radar wavelengths in common use. 1.5 inches wide
    would probably be invisible to all radar sets ( otherwise
    the standing rigging would be a GREAT radar reflector ).
