Michael,
I get the impression that many 'recreational' boaters think
that day shapes are for commercial vessels only. When I
bought my boat the ONLY day shape onboard was the distress
flag. What gives? I took a class from the Coast Guard
Auxiliary, they made it clear these shapes were for ALL
boats. I have NEVER seen a sailboat show ANY day shape!
BTW My boat IS a sailboat.
