    Perhaps you don't understand the situation we were discussing. I sent a
    message last night or this morning describing it last describing it in more
    detail.

    Essentially, because of the non-communications of the tug, the sailboat was
    put in a very awkward position of not knowing which way to dodge. The
    sailboat was the carry-on vessel. If he turned right he would be attempting
    to go in front of the approaching tug. If he turned left he would have ended
    up right in the path of the tug after it made its right turn.
