The bruces will be better than the danforth. Danforths are widely recognized as a questionable choice for a storm anchor. vering a danforth requires the acnhor to break and reset. I'd choose a big Delta or spade as my storm anchor.
I consider Danforth typs to only be appropriate as lunch hooks or kedges.
