Susan,
You have enough anchors. What do you use for rode? Remember
in high winds or waves or strong current the amount of scope
needs to be AT LEAST 7 to 1.
Having lost an anchor and rope rode because I was the only
able bodied ( so to speak ) person onboard ( Mal De Mar took
out my friend ) When my sails were fouled and the engine
died. Therefore I was unable to raise the anchor when the
towboat showed up. I have a manual windless and found it
impossible to tail the rope rode and pump the windless at
the same time. Had I had an all chain rode I would still own
that anchor.
I will also be shopping for a good used horizontal electric
windless able to handle 5/16 HT chain with 2000 + pounds of
pull. I will have 300 to 400 feet of chain.
