I will enthusiastically second that. I called him once (? Foley, owner
of Foley Engines) when I needed an engine and V-drive for my boat, and
he had advertised all sorts of engines and parts in Soundings. In a
short conversation with the man I was unable to get past his nastiness
and sarcasm. I'd rather try to get a filet mignon away from a junkyard
dog. I have heard a couple other horror stories about him, too. Hard
to understand how some people can stay in business.
