Hey folks, does anybody know of a non-Volvo water pump impellor replacement?
I want to get a spare or two for my two Volvos but wondered if there is a
Jabsco or other equivalent that is less $'s than the Volvo one.

There is a nylon webbing that is used to pull large cables (like power
lines) from one pole to another, if you contact a power Co. or one of their
major contractors, you will probably be able to get 100's of feet of this
stuff for free, they generally use it once and throw it away rather than try
    to rewind it.
It comes in 3/8" and 1/2" and is very strong.
I would just you a traditional lashing pattern with a tie off that tensions
the whole mess. It seems that eople have frogatten how simple and strong a
good lashing can be and they opt for hardware that costs 50 times as much as
a simple lashing that would be stronger in the first place.
