Every state tries to camoflage their taxes to remain attractive
to new business. Every state has a different mix.
It reminds me of some old (french?) philosopher,
whose name I no longer recall, who said of taxes:
The art of taxing is the art of extracting the maximum
number of feathers from the goose with the least amount
of hissing!
