lv-ab: Latches

Bob took out the double bunk in the main saloon (it is a settee which
pulled out), and replaced it with a single bunk, and put storage back where
the half of the double mattress was stored.

He wants to add similar storage to the aft cabin which has a very wide bed
    - far wider than we need, plus it is awkward to make the bed. So he wants
to put two singles side by side and put storage units on each side of the
    narrower mattresses.

The cabinets in the main saloon he latched with ordinary slide bolts, but
he doesn't want to do that in the aft cabin because we might want to lean
against them and having the bolts sticking out will be uncomfortable. So
he wants latches that will install flush with the surface. He likes the
recessed ring latches that they have at West Marine, but they are expensive
and seem to come only in stainless. He'd rather have brass or bronze.
Does anyone know where he can get something like that?
