This is a classic question for Google. Go to www.google.com, type in:
Linux GPS software
or even: Linux NMEA
and Google will give you lots of links. Don't ask about "navigation",
because that has too many meanings!
Every question of this type should be tried on Google first, provided you
have Web access.

PS: Of course, this list has run under Linux for years, and I have used
Linux almost exclusively since early 1995. However, you need to be a
committed computer enthusiast to go this route.
