    So it sounds like being 'self insured' is probably the lesser of several
    evils provided there are no real debilitating or catastrophic conditions
    that arise. I suppose paying $500/mo for 12 months ($6000) would go a long
    ways toward paying for 'routine' illnesses. It would certainly depend upon
    the general overall health of the individuals. Hmmm, then a good 'medical'
    kitty would be in order just as a maintenance kitty for times when that
    engine decides to swallow a valve or you blow out a jib. ;o)

    So maybe the key here is what I've always heard and have come to believe in
    my heart ... go cruising NOW while you have your strength and your health!!
