So I bought documented boat in NY in July, just filing CG papers now for
documentation. I am NY resident. Boat is moving out of NY about Oct 7,
will be on move, but parking along route south while I return home to work.
Boat has current NY registration sticker and canal permit in old owner's
name. If I do not register in NY, do I pay sales tax if boat is not here?
