    Do not use anything other than stove or paint stripper alcohol. The
    stuff that has MEK probably only has a very small %, most does, it is
    added for two reasons, mostly to avoid paying a tax as if it was booze,
    but also to improve volatility, I've been told. You should ventilate
    anyway, as even if it was pure alchohol you would get a build up of
    carbon dioxide. Any stove burning in open air inside should have some
    ventilation. If you use a different fuel there is a strong likelihood of
    EXPLOSIONS, or poisoning, and even if it did work, it would clog the
    canisters and destroy them. If they are not putting out a nice almost
    invisible but fairly hot blue flame, they probably are clogged and
    should be replaced. I've have used this type of stove for many years,
    and get at least 5-7 years from a set of canisters-Ken.
