Hi all,
Just got back from the St. Augustine trip. It was wonderful. Stayed
out of the ditch and sailed outside both ways. Great seas, full
moon, plenty of dolphin. What more could a guy ask for...
Just wanted to thank everyone who replied to my question about the
proper flag size and placement. I found the proper flag and staff,
as well as a rail mount so I did not have to drill into the boat, and
all worked well. We flew the stars and stripes the whole way and
proudly displayed her during an awesome fireworks display in St.
Augustine. Thanks again.
If I could ask for one more piece of advice from the list. What
bilge cleaners do you recommend. I have tried several but have not
found one that I am happy with. My bilge is pretty clean but I do
still get some smell and I would like to knock that down as much as
possible. Also, would I use the same cleaner to keep the grey water
box clean? It seems to develop a real nice funk from all of the soap
and body oils. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am
tired of just masking the smells with air fresheners. I would love
to have a clean smelling boat if that is possible...
Thanks,
Sam
