    Mike-
When an employee screws up, then lies about it to the owner, who then calls
me a liar and refuses to even look at my boat or schedule the work.....that
is NOT a yard I want to do business with again. The last time I talked to the
owner he brushed me off by telling me to talk to his lawyer if I had a
    problem.

I'm glad you got good service, but the majority of boat owners here that I
have spoken with say they will not go there again.

Stop by if you want the full story.

<< Fred, I know the yard your talking about since your at the same marina.
    Why
didn't you stop by and talk about it? What it might have taken is some more
patience. One can't expect them to jump at everything. It is a very busy
yard the best one in the Baltimore. I have known these folks for over 5
years now and you have to give them the benefit of the doubt. They operate
a sail loft, major marine engineering yard as well as a do it your self
yard. The former CGC Tamaroa from the Perfect Storm is at the yard now. In
fact my ketch is there now out near the t head getting some work done before
my 9 day cruise. They have been very accommodating and the quality of
their work is top notch. They are the only ABYC certified yard in the area.
