    In the Annapolis area, tradesmen and craftsmen not calling back is a way of
    life. If they are good, then it doesn't seem to matter because they are in
    demand. Also, to be fair, they run into unforeseen repair issues just as we
    do. They just don't like calling everyone to explain. If you have a deadline
    for a departure or race, then I would share that with them - it usually
    helps. Here in Annapolis, if a big race is coming up, forget about it on
    engine repairs. The racers come first, they have a deadline and they have
    the bucks.
