Friends-the debate is academic as there is too much variety in designs
of both mono and mullti hulls to argue one type is better or safer than
the other. I have a cat that you could not capsize unless you dropped
it off a building and then you would have only a 50\50 chance. But it
also can't go to windward very well at all and is relatively slow. Such
are the trades. Hit a container offshore with anything and it gets very
academic very quick.
